Match summary: Horsham (a)

We got back to winning ways, combined with a rare clean sheet, as we beat Horsham on Tuesday night, writes James Barrett-Sterling.

Team news
Peter Adeniyi came back into the side and Ricky Korboa was handed his first full start of the season. Kalvin Morath-Gibbs was back among the substitutes.

Kick-off
And Billy Bishop earned his shut-out from early; first he palmed away a firm drive from Scott Kirkwood on the quarter hour, then smothered a daisy cutter by Will Robinson.

But our forwards certainly looked capable of scoring too and, with 38 minutes on the clock, Mickel Miller rose to head a deep Tommy Bradford cross past James Fernandes for his 10th of the season.

Mekhail McLaughlin almost doubled our lead in similar fashion before half-time, but he guided a free kick delivery went just wide.

We came out the blocks after the break and Miller was unfortunate to see an effort smash back off the home crossbar.

Bradford and Korboa both also came close to adding to the score, but Fernandes denied them on separate occasions.

We saw out the game surviving only one real scare with 15 minutes to go - George Landais worked some space in our box but Bishop rushed out to block the shot away.
