Match summary - South Park (a)

We fell to a second defeat this week despite clawing our way back from two-down, writes James Barrett.

Team news: Ricardo Panton and Ryan Healy came in for the injured Paris Hamilton-Downes and Rio Davidson-Phipps.

We started this one better than we did at Hastings and we carved out a good chance within the first 10 minutes but Tommy Bradford guided Ryan Gondoh's cross the wrong side of the far post.
Healy came back into the starting line-up

But, for all our early dominance, the home side took the lead through their top scorer Kieran Lavery whom rifled home from what looked like an offside position - but the referee waved away our protests.

And that lead was doubled just after the half hour mark as, although we cleared a corner delivery, Joe Tupper could only parry a returned shot and Asa Rixon-Nicholls plundered a goal.

However, unlike the capitulation witnessed at Pilot Field last time out, we rolled up our sleeves and, five minutes before the break, reduced the arrears through Gondoh's first goal since he returned to us from Kingstonian last month.

HALF-TIME: 2 - 1

We restored parity just after the hour and it came via a typical source - Bradford was afforded time and space in the home box and he scored his 30th goal of the season, which also solidified his place at the top of the league's goalscoring chart.

Thirty up: Bradford celebrates
We thought we should've had a penalty on 70 minutes when it appeared Gondoh was shoved inside Park's area, but the referee waved play on.

Then sub Josh Phillips thought he'd given us the lead but his header was clawed away by Thomas at full stretch.

The ref did give our hosts a spot-kick of their own six minutes later however when he believed he saw a foul in a crowded penalty area and Chris Smith converted the eventual winning goal.
