We made it four wins on the bounce as we hit Egham Town for six in the first round of the Surrey Senior Cup, writes James Barrett-Sterling.
Team news
New midfielder Ross Elsom was handed a full debut, along with defender Dereece Thompson. Raheem Sterling-Parker and Ryan Healy returned and youth product Charlie Alexiou was given a chance to impress.
We took the lead after 17 minutes as Sterling-Parker teed up Tommy Bradford for his fourth of the season and went into the break two-up after Matt Stockill put Mickel Miller's cross into his own net.
Then Miller got in on the act as he plundered the first of his eventual hat-trick three minutes after the restart.
But Egham rallied as Liam Tuck reduced the deficit on 54 minutes before Brendan Matthew converted a spot-kick just before the hour.
We rediscovered our composure and Miller fired a six-minute double, including tucking away the rebound on a saved Sterling-Parker penalty, to give us a commanding 5-2 lead with 18 minutes left.
And Jordan Cheadle put the gloss on the result with a 30 yard free kick in added time.
