Match summary - Walton and Hersham (a - FA Cup replay)

We made it through in the FA Cup after our replay at Stompond Lane went the whole distance, writes James Barrett-Sterling.

Team news: There was a debut for forward Raheem Sterling-Parker while Jordan Cheadle, Ryan Healy and Josh Phillips came into the side. Youth players Reece Cave and Levi Philips were named among the substitutes.

It was a tight encounter across the 90 minutes but we went into the break 1-0 up as Cheadle fired home an angled free kick for his first goal for the club.

HALF-TIME: 0 - 1

David Opoku came on for his first appearance of the season after the break, but our hosts equalised on 48 minutes through Lee Van Sullivan.

Both sides had chances to win it in normal time, but it finished all square and extra-time couldn't separate the two clubs.

We managed to convert our first four penalties - via Bobby Price, Cheadle, Phillips and Ricardo Panton - while Richard Ossai saved one of Walton's.

This meant manager Peter Adeniyi stepped up to send us through with our successful fifth spot-kick.
