Another Robins youngster makes giant steps

Carshalton Athletic youngster Ethan Kaiser made six giant steps up the football pyramid to sign for Queens Park Rangers today for an undisclosed compensation fee. Ethan, a talented defensive midfielder is a product of the Robins development system and hopes to follow in the footsteps of ex-robins like Jed Wallace who has become a favourite at Wolverhampton Wanderers

Club chairman, Paul Dipre, who brokered the deal commented “Like many in our youth, academy and first team, Ethan has more than half a chance to make it in the professional game. I would like to thank QPR who have been a pleasure to work with.” He added “We are a club who wants to see youngsters achieve their potential and we want to secure the best possible move in every case. Mikel Miller and Ricky Korboa are also attracting a lot of interest from pro clubs and I believe that they won’t be the only ones to move on before the start of next season.”

The Carshalton Athletic development system has set the standard for bringing players through to first team football. More than half of the current 1st team starting eleven have come through the ranks, (mainly through the Carshalton Athletic Academy,) an unprecedented statistic for any league or non-league club.
