Match summary - Tooting & Mitcham Utd (h)

A late equaliser robbed us of a morale-boosting victory in this local Christmas derby, writes James Barrett.

Team news: Kingsley Aikhionbare and Brendan Murphy-McVey came in for Josh Phillips and Jahmahl King, while on-loan goalkeeper Joe Tupper started in place of the suspended Alex Kozakis.

We went into the break one-up as Tommy Bradford plundered his 19th of the season after Aikhionbare and Ricky Korboa combined to put him through on goal.

HALF-TIME: 1 - 0

We kept frustrating United and the visitors began racking up the cautions until Sol Patterson-Bohner, their skipper, picked up a second yellow and was sent off with 10 minutes to play.

Sub Ronald Sobowale had a great chance to seal victory shortly after but his eventual shot cannoned off a post - and it was to prove costly.

United swung a cross into our box which Chace O'Neill managed to get under control before scuffing a shot past Tupper from a tight angle.

Photos from this game will be available soon.

Next up: We visit Walton Casuals on Saturday 31st December before we head to Chipstead on Monday 2nd January.
